James O''Neill James O’Neill was a well known Irish actor that had awed the public with his acting talents. He had performed in the play “The Count of Monte Cristo", the opening performance, but this was not his first time playing the role of main character, Edmond Dantès. This was the performance that had sculpted his career for him. He had performed in this play over the course of his career close to 6000 times all over the world before he made it to The Myar.

Sarah Bernhardt Another famous performer, Sarah Bernhardt, was a French actress who was once referred to as “the divine Sarah” or “the most famous actress the world has ever known”. Bernhardt was very popular in Europe and America known for her dramatic acting skills. She had performed in very many stage plays, though she was neither a singer nor operaist.

Edwin Booth Edwin Booth was a famous American actor that traveled around the world to perform his work. Booth was very well known in America and Europe. He had performed in Shakespeare's stage play, “Julius Cesar” at the Myar Opera House. As a matter a fact, Booth specialized in doing plays that were written by Shakespeare. Booth was known as “The Hamlet” for Shakespeare’s play “Hamlet”. This was what he was known for, until his brother John Wilkes Booth, has assassinated Abraham Lincoln. This crime, that he did not even commit, overshadowed his career forever.

Lawrence Barrett Another one of those star characters was Lawrence Barrett. He was an American actor that lived in the northern part of the country for most of his life. He performed in the play “Julius Cesar”. Barrett had performed mostly in San Francisco, California and London, England, but he somehow made his was down south to the Myar to make this performance special.
